Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. *Responsible for moving product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse location by powered equipment (minimum of 50% of time).
*Responsible for general receiving, unloading product from various transportation carriers, checking in product and matching purchase orders to pack lists.
*Responsible for marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
*Responsible for scanning and entering correct quantities and purchase orders using the appropriate computer applications.
*Responsible for sorting and moving materials to racks, shelves, bins or appropriate staging area according to current receiving guidelines.
*Responsible for organizing warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
*Responsible for ensuring individual work area is safe and accessible and helping to keep the warehouse safe for all employees.
*Sweeping and dusting as needed.
*Other duties as assigned.
