Position Overview
The Associate Attorney will manage litigation matters from pre-suit through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Case Management
• Manage all phases of pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Handle insurance defense and civil litigation cases from intake through resolution
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and insurers regarding case status and strategy
Legal Research & Motion Practice
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic recommendations
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
Hearings, Depositions & Mediation
• Conduct hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Negotiate settlements and support resolution strategy
• Prepare clients and witnesses for litigation proceedings
Client & Team Collaboration
• Provide legal analysis and case strategy recommendations
• Collaborate with partners and legal staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain accurate billing, timekeeping, and administrative records
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Georgia Bar membership (or ability to obtain promptly)
• 3–5 years of litigation experience
• Insurance defense litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple active matters and deadlines
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
