Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as an Assembly Associate in our Brand New Production Plant!


The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Assembly Associate who brings strong decision-making and expertise to the table. In this role, the primary duty is ensure the highest level of quality assembly of Toyota Material Handling's products and to support overall manufacturing goals. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Final assembly of mechanical, electrical and electronic components for forklift parts
  • Adjust forklift parts: hydraulic and air system; bearings drive system; drive train; engine RPM; electrical and electronic systems; mast tilt; lift adjustment and alignment; toe-in adjustment
  • Check slings and hoists for safety considerations
  • Ensure quality of final assembly and adjustments of forklift mast
  • Consistently hit daily takt time 
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School diploma and GED required
  • 2 Years of Manufacturing experience preferred

Individuals will be required to perform all job duties while walking and/or standing for extended periods of time on hard surfaces. The work for this position is very physical in nature with repetitive tasks. This means it is fast paced; you must be detail oriented. You must be able to stoop, bend, twist, turn, squat, reach, push, pull, grab or grasp. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 44 pounds.

Pay - Starting wage - $23.95/hr + OT (when applicable)
