What you’ll bring
Bridge any gaps and differences between the testing team and management, ensuring transparency and alignment on quality goals and release timelines.
Act as a communication channel between QA, development, and stakeholders for all testing-related matters.
Review functional specifications and technical design documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
Identify requirement gaps, ambiguities, and potential risks early in the lifecycle.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases aligned with business requirements.
Define overall test strategy, scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Oversee test execution and ensure adequate test coverage across all modules.
Monitor defect lifecycle, ensure proper severity/priority classification, and drive timely closure.
Track quality metrics and provide regular status reports to management.
Proactively highlight risks, blockers, and potential release impacts.
Guide and mentor QA engineers within the team on testing standards, tools, and best practices.
Conduct peer reviews of test cases and ensure adherence to QA processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.
