Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Architect – ML with strong expertise in both traditional machine learning (ML) and generative AI (Gen AI). This role focuses on integrating Gen AI capabilities into various Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases to enhance efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and the ability to identify high-impact business opportunities where Gen AI adoption can accelerate project delivery and improve solutioning. This position requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client engagement skills to drive Gen AI implementation across multiple domains.

Gen AI Awareness and Strategy:

• Develop and maintain a strategic understanding of Gen AI's role in the SDLC, including potential opportunities for automation, optimization, and acceleration.

• Champion the adoption of Gen AI within sales, go-to-market (GTM) cycles, and client engagements.

• Identify key areas where Gen AI-powered solutions can streamline processes and enhance software engineering workflows.

• Stay up to date with the latest Gen AI research and industry trends, ensuring best practices are incorporated into solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across multiple projects to identify Gen AI and ML strategies, even in the absence of a formal project charter.

• Lead and drive discussions with clients to understand their pain points and recommend AI-driven solutions.

• Actively contribute to strategy and operational meetings, sharing thought leadership on ML and Gen AI advancements.

• Work closely with  Project engineering and product teams to implement Gen AI capabilities into production-ready solutions.

• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies to assess the viability of Gen AI models in solving business problems.

• Assist teams with ML model selection, training, and deployment, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists in best practices for ML and Gen AI development.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong experience with traditional ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, time series forecasting, NLP) and Gen AI models (LLMs, diffusion models, transformers).

  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with cloud-based ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure).. 

  • Architect and optimize scalable AI systems using microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed computing for high availability and cost efficiency.

  • Design and develop AI agents with advanced memory management, tool integration, and performance scalability.

  • Implement RAG pipelines, optimize vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and enhance LLM knowledge retrieval.

  • Develop effective prompts using few-shot learning, chain-of-thought reasoning, and advanced prompt engineering techniques.

  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation for architectures, APIs, and workflows.

• Strategic Thinking & Innovation:

  • Identify and assess new Gen AI opportunities in business processes.

  • Strong analytical skills for ML model selection, scalability, and performance trade-offs.

• Client Handling & Communication:

  • Proven ability to lead client discussions, presentations, and workshops.

  • Ability to translate complex ML concepts into business-friendly language.

  • Strong collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Gen AI solutioning for enterprise use cases.

• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and knowledge retrieval techniques.

• Experience in deploying ML solutions in production environments at scale.
