The Role
We're looking for a Business Development Associate to join our Sydney-based APAC headquarters. This is a high-exposure, hands-on role supporting business development across structured finance, project & infrastructure finance, corporates and financial institutions.
You'll gain broad experience across credit ratings, debt capital markets and commercial strategy - while helping grow our APAC business and building strong relationships with issuers, investors and market intermediaries.
What You'll Do
  • Support sales and marketing activities across multiple ratings sectors
  • Research markets, issuers and transaction activity to identify opportunities
  • Build profiles on existing and prospective clients
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations and marketing content
  • Assist with client meetings, events and outreach initiatives
  • Coordinate engagement letters, commercial agreements and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM
  • Work closely with business development and analytical teams locally and globally

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years' experience in financial services (e.g. capital markets, securitisation, corporate finance, ratings, or advisory)
  • Strong interest in debt capital markets and credit ratings
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid research and analytical capability
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and CRM systems
  • University degree in a relevant discipline

If this applies and your account(s) are not with an approved broker, you will be required to move your holdings to an approved broker.
