What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel Android application.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards.
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using modern development practices.
- Integrate with external APIs and data sources to provide dynamic content and functionality within the app.
- Develop and execute unit tests and automated tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure the performance, quality, responsiveness, and security of Android applications.
- Maintain code quality, organization, documentation, and CI/CD automation practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor app performance, crash analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 - 2 years of Proven experience developing and deploying Android applications to the Google Play Store.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.
- Knowledge of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with mobile application testing frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
