Within the JPMorganChase CCB Banking and Wealth Management Controllers organization, the Analytics Solutions Associate – Senior will support core controllership reporting and analytics (e.g., daily/month-end reporting and analysis, management reporting, balance sheet / P&L analytics, data quality monitoring, governance metrics, and ad-hoc executive insights). The successful candidate will design and implement robust data workflows and dashboards, establish and maintain an operating model for moving solutions to production, optimize analytics performance, and ensure strong documentation, transparency while staying current on modern analytics tooling.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include the following.
Build and maintain advanced SQL queries and curated datasets to enable reporting, trend analysis, and explain/bridge analytics.
Develop Alteryx workflows and Python automation for data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation support, exception handling, and repeatable control checks.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and transformations in Databricks (e.g., reusable notebooks/jobs, performance-oriented processing patterns) to support controllership analytics.
Deliver governed self-service analytics in ThoughtSpot, partnering with stakeholders to standardize metrics/definitions and improve discoverability of insights.
Optimize analytics assets for performance and reliability to ensure fast load times and efficient use of system resources.
Document data sources, data models, transformations, and analytics designs to ensure transparency, auditability, and long-term maintainability.
Translate stakeholder needs into scalable solutions; communicate effectively across Controllers and partner teams, driving adoption and continuous improvement.
Contribute to data architecture and data governance practices that strengthen lineage, consistency, and controlled usage of Product Control analytics.
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data/MI initiatives, including regular KPI updates and recurring reporting, while managing priorities across multiple concurrent deliverables and stakeholder deadlines.
Provide day-to-day leadership behaviors (mentoring, best practices, delivery discipline) to foster continuous learning and improvement across the team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
The role requires the following qualifications and skills.
7+ years of relevant experience with a B.Tech / MSc in Computer Science (or similar degree).
5+ years in data visualization, data management, data warehousing, or unstructured data environments
- Banking/Finance domain experience, ideally in controllership, reporting, or finance governance contexts.
Advanced SQL and strong data warehousing concepts.
Strong hands-on experience with the required toolchain: SQL, Python, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot, Databricks.
Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade dashboards, analytics solutions, and/or data flows, including operating model and production migration discipline.
Proven track record of leading complex data projects from inception to completion; strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Controllers, Finance, and technology partners.
- Certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Alteryx Designer Core).
- Experience with machine learning and AI-driven data analytics
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for data security.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
