As the Variable Compensation Associate Analyst you are responsible for the preparation, coordination, calculation and documentation of primarily one variable pay program (typically sales commission) for a single Business Unit (BU). You will performs basic calculations for the program. While extracting sales data from various systems and prepares the data by putting it into a standard format for purposes of calculating and processing commissions.
Responsibilities:
- Support calculation of the performance related bonuses of sales personnel throughout Europe for the CSS and EES divisions based on the parameters set by the company and to run associated reports as needed.
- Liaise with team to ensure sales and targets are correctly coded in the computer systems (which include Wesco Anixter Mainframe, Access databases and Excel) to the salespeople responsible for the sale.
- Build bonus plans based on targets, build/update calculation sheets in Excel and update/make sure that Local accounts assignments are in line and investigate/action on any discrepancies that occur.
- Run monthly / quarterly calculations to determine the bonuses to be paid each period.
- Refresh monthly reports to provide accrual information to Business present.
- Assisting the Bonus Manger/Commercial Finance and Management team by providing information, interpretation, analysis and recommendations.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes.
- Learn and utilise Wesco Anixter systems and maintain data integrity..
Qualifications:
- Mimimum 2+ years of experience in the same field
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including writing formulas.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred (query writing and database management)
- Knowledge of payroll/compensation processes/bonus calculations would a distinctive advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with computerised mainframe systems.
- Ability to work with different currencies.
