In this role, you will transform unstructured social data into clear, actionable insights that help teams move faster and make smarter choices. You will own topic frameworks, build and refine queries, and deliver compelling narratives that leaders use to optimize campaigns and events. Accountabilities:
  • Insight Framework Definition: Translate business questions into precise social listening objectives, topics, and measures that focus analysis on what drives impact.
  • Query Architecture: Build, test, and refine keywords, operators, and filters to ensure high-quality data capture and accurate mention classification.
  • Analytics and Interpretation: Pull and interpret data on volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, and influencers; separate noise from signal and quantify what matters.
  • Decision Enablement: Provide clear recommendations that guide content, media, and event strategies; advise on optimizations and next actions.
  • Reporting and Storytelling: Create PowerPoint, newsletter, and Excel deliverables that translate analysis into a concise story with charts, tables, and infographics.
  • Dashboarding: Configure tool dashboards that track key indicators and make performance visible to stakeholders.
  • Quality and Compliance: Adhere to global social listening standard operating procedures and compliance policies; deliver error-free outputs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively improve queries, definitions, and processes to raise accuracy and insight depth by the end of each reporting period.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketing, communications, and analytics colleagues to ensure insights are timely, relevant, and used.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • 2–6 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream or Pharma, or MPharm (Pharmacology preferred) or MBA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to transform data into a concise, yet compelling story.
  • Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analysis and recommendations.
  • Highly organized and impeccable attention to detail. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver accurate reports without grammatical or data errors.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter and proactive attitude.
  • Good mix of technical understanding, business sense, managerial/connecting and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Forums, Instagram and Tumblr.
  • Comfortable with MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Pharmaceutical and social listening experience is good to have.
  • Experience configuring and using enterprise social listening tools and dashboards.
  • Exposure to compliance-led environments and highly regulated categories.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners across marketing, communications, and analytics.
