Monitor and analyze emerging vulnerabilities and risks in domestic and global financial markets, research financial stability issues, enhance indicators and methodologies, recommend policies, prepare communications for senior management and stakeholders, and engage with internal and external market participants.

- Formulate and recommend appropriate policies to mitigate risks to financial stability.
- Develop communication materials on financial markets to be presented to the Bank’s management and stakeholders, such as members of the Financial Stability Committee, Financial Stability Executive Committee and Board, and publications.
- Produce inputs on financial market developments that may impact financial stability to facilitate Management’s participation at international meetings.
- Analyse data, news and other forms of information to produce an assessment on the surveillance areas.
- Conduct research in the area of financial stability.
- Enhance indicators, assessment methodologies and analytical framework on a timely manner, to preserve robustness of the team’s assessment.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders, including Heads of Treasury of financial institutions and other regulators on a periodic manner for market insights.
- Escalate and present assessment to Management and other departments in the Bank.
- Learn new knowledge and skills to improve understanding of contemporary financial stability issues.
- Improve the knowledge and capacity of the department by conducting knowledge sharing sessions on the surveillance areas
- Academic Qualifications: Basic Degree or professional qualification that are related to mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science or financial services industry
- Experience: Preferably has working experience in the area of research, analytics, risk or financial stability analysis and surveillance
