As a Process Management Associate on our AML/KYC Controls team, you will be responsible for facilitating conversations with internal business partners and subject matter experts to gather information to create process flows, update procedures, job aids, and reference material. You will be responsible for Anti Money Laundering (AML) strategic initiatives/projects to meet regulatory obligations. This will include conducting research, analysis and providing qualitative/quantitative insights to lead and direct the projects and initiatives to meet our AML/KYC Standards
AML/KYC Controls team provides oversight and guidance so that the business delivers Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) strategies to assure our product and our customer base are fully compliant with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), PATRIOT Act and FINRA requirements.
AML/KYC Controls works closely with various groups within Consumer & Community Banking, such as the AML/KYC Ops, Business Development and Relationship Management, and Operational teams to deliver ongoing requirements for capturing, reporting and monitoring compliance with regulatory standards.
The role requires alignment with the Firm's AML initiatives and may require coordination with Project Teams, Compliance, Technology, Training, Communications, Legal, AML Operations and the Business. Team members are responsible to be knowledgeable of AML/KYC policies and standards to ensure projects and initiatives are within compliance and mitigate the AML/KYC risks to an acceptable level.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate business process mapping sessions effectively with business partners/subject matter experts
- Apply a process improvement and controls mindset combined with skills to enable evolution from the current to future state
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and/or efficiencies in existing processes
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
- Adopt a process improvement mindset with the intent to be a subject matter expert for assigned topics being mapped. Analyze data/information to determine tactical and strategic impacts
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Demonstrate proven collaboration and relationship-building skills across lines of business and with partners at all levels of the organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ability to develop detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to support automation initiatives
- Develops robust communication materials including process maps, presentation decks, and status updates
- Record of driving initiatives toward target outcomes
- Identifies process and product gaps and areas of opportunity
- Breaks down complex challenges into key problems to solve
- Proven experience in process automation, business process improvement, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning
