We are looking to hire a self-motivated Accounts Executive for our Singapore Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone self-motivated, meticulous, detailed-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and think quickly on their feet. Senior Associate to work closely with Waystone Compliance solutions Manager and leadership team to provide excellent client services and deliver work within the timelines assigned to the specific task.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Book-keeping, finalize Trial balance and bank reconciliation including necessary accounting schedules: Fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, loan, hire purchase, etc.
- Assist in preparing financial statements/reports and XBRL
- Assist in Corporate and individual Income tax computation
- GST, Payroll, and year-end audit liaising activities
- Ensuring Compliance timelines meet and documents are completed, Annual Returns are correct and filed in
- Implement and adapt technologies to increase efficiency
- Able to work in teams and support the Management in meetings and achieving monthly targets
- Other ad-hoc duties and when assigned by the company
Experience:
- Financial accounting qualifications and 2 years of relevant experience are a
- Singapore Accounts experience is an added advantage
- Must be process-oriented, disciplined, and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Good English written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or internationally recognized professional qualification in Accounting
