POSITION OVERVIEW
Creates and maintains master data to ensure accurate and timely input of data in SAP and other auxiliary systems. Provide master data support for assigned projects requiring assistance with data elements with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes requests for master data needed to facilitate transactions.
Ensures requests are complete and in accordance with industry standards and other written guidelines.
Creates and maintains master data in SAP and other applicable software systems.
Assists with generating ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel, Access, Business Intelligence (BI) and/or SAP.
Determines the effect of changes (such as org structure changes due to mergers, acquisitions and/or dispositions) to existing master data and completes revisions and updates as required.
May participate in special projects and serve as a knowledge resource related to assigned master data elements.
Develops short-term action plans for accomplishing work, selects appropriate work activities from a range of competing alternatives
Analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments and determine solutions
Makes decisions within defined practices and procedures
Seeks guidance on non-routine tasks and issues from supervisors and more experienced co-workers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
Zero (0) - Two (2) years of related experience
