A Day in the LifeAccounts Payable Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) activities, including the receipt, validation, and posting of invoice, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies. Review and process PO and non-PO invoices, perform duplicate checks, unblock invoices, and support FI payment requests. Monitor and manage AP workflows across multiple countries, respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status, and handle critical escalations. Generate and analyze operational AP reports, execute electronic invoicing processes and reconciliations, support multi-country operations.
Required Qualifications & Tools:
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
French proficiency is a plus (desirable).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.
- Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
- Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepares and consolidates financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
- Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.
- Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures and internal controls.
- May be responsible for month end close.
- May be responsible for technical support and accounting of M&A activities.
- May oversee technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
Required knowledge:
- 1 or 2 years of experience in accounting, finance or similar roles
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
- Fluent English is a must
- Fluent in French is a plus
