In this role, you will prepare, analyze, and review financial statements using accounting principles while ensuring operational excellence and a commitment to best practices. You will work alongside experienced accounting professionals to gain valuable insights into the business and the technologies we utilize to produce accurate, timely, and relevant financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance.
- Execute daily general ledger accounting operations.
- Reconcile accounts during the month-end closing process.
- Keep records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities.
- Support and execute internal controls.
- Coordinate accounting matters with peers.
- Handle basic issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Assist in the preparation of reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents projecting the organization's financial position.
- Support the coordination of financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned based on team and/or country-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accountability in protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
