Purpose of the Position:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting KSB’s sales of pumps, valves, mechanical seals, reverse engineering, and services, focusing on maintaining strong customer relationships, meeting KPIs, and driving service revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of KSB products and services, including pumps, valves, reverse engineering, and mechanical seals.

Monitor and report monthly on KPIs, including sales, collections, and order intake.

Build and strengthen customer relationships, planning customer visits, and attending sites to generate RFQs and drive customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to assist with lead generation, offer submissions, and order intake while collecting receivables and gathering market intelligence.

Establish service contracts and identify service revenue opportunities with the Sales Account Manager.

Take responsibility for specific projects and key account customers as assigned by the Sales Account Manager.

Ensure accurate documentation of RFQs, offers, POs, and other relevant forms in the designated portals.

Maintain and update customer opportunities in the system and installed databases.

Complete administrative tasks such as regional and flash reports, following credit control policies.

Requirements:

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in selling services, spare parts, machinery, or equipment (preferably pumps).

Skills: Strong negotiation skills, product/market knowledge, relationship-building, customer retention, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
