Position Overview:

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) is responsible for assisting the account team across a number of clients. This position provides an opportunity to learn and apply all of the necessary skills to continue to move up the agency account ladder. You'll be focused on supporting a specific set of clients on our roster as you become skilled in maintaining client relationships to grow business. Must be highly organized and have a go-getter attitude!

Highlighted Responsibilities:

Internal Collaboration:

  • Lead in maintaining / updating our internal opportunities tracking documents
  • Prepare additional briefing material on projects for our internal team
  • Obtain internal approvals on scopes and briefing materials
  • Partner and works closely with Project Management team to ensure all project timelines are met, partnering with Account Team leadership to escalate potential delays and collaboratively brainstorm solutions to bring to the client
  • Participate in agency overview sessions for new contacts joining our client teams
  • Research and develop recommendations for programming elements, such as shopper incentives / rewards
    • Work with third party organizations to align on partnership / sourcing opportunities

Client Program Management:

  • Responsible for partnering with clients to capture information about new programming opportunities to develop scopes of work accordingly
  • Attend client calls / meetings, preparing meeting recaps during concepting and client briefing / update sessions
  • Participate in pre-program deployment quality control checks
  • Management of client annual calendars

Research and Financial Management:

  • Conduct industry and competitive research to assists the Account Team with identifying revenue generating opportunities
  • Manage timely invoicing for programming, including ensuring that payment methods are aligned on and maintained based on scope changes

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 2 years of marketing/promotional agency or client sales experience, agency internship is desired
  • Alcohol Beverage marketing/sales experience is a bonus
