We are seeking a talented individual to join our Associate Account Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto, ON.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this role, you will be responsible for the support of senior level Client Executives and supporting management of a client book. You would be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, supporting and acquiring new clients, and the delivery of the firm’s resources for the overall benefit of the client and the firm.
We will count on you to:
- serve as the project manager for the account team on large initiatives or complex accounts, implements action plans, monitors progress, assures service meets or exceeds expectations and protects the Firm from Errors & Omissions.
- Draft essential comprehensive project documents intended for clients including: white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.
- Conduct research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct and refine data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
- Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, help manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and apply judgement as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.
- Offer technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.
- Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of work experience within commercial insurance.
- RIBO license.
- Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite.
- Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
