About The Team

The Financial Services Sales team is dedicated to building relationships and driving sales with hedge funds, asset management firms, investment banks, and private equity firms. We engage with all levels within these organizations, from Junior Analysts and Portfolio Managers to Directors of Research and Heads of Equities. Our specialists understand the unique needs and challenges of the financial services industry and excel at delivering tailored solutions. About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious new business sales professional to join our expanding Financial Services Sales team, specialising in Financial Markets. This role offers the chance to join a fast-growing company and drive sales of our acclaimed product, which is gaining rapid global traction. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our company's growth and future achievements.

  • Accomplished Sales Professional: Possesses 2+ years of SaaS sales experience in value-based, consultative environments, with a focus on Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated success engaging end-user personas such as Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers, and consistently exceeding targets in new business acquisition roles.
  • Resilient and Driven: Excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple priorities with a proactive and determined approach. Recognized for strong work ethic, initiative, and consistent performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle within your territory, leading new business acquisition across hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research firms.
  • Drive pipeline growth by partnering with Sales Development Representatives to identify, engage, and nurture high-potential prospects within the Financial Services and Investment ecosystem.
  • Hunt and win new logos through a consultative, value-driven approach — uncovering client challenges, shaping solutions, and driving compelling business outcomes.
  • Deliver impactful product demos that clearly communicate AlphaSense’s value and demonstrate how our AI-driven insights transform decision-making and performance.
  • Run seamless product trials alongside Product Specialists, ensuring exceptional client experiences and high conversion rates.
  • Crush ambitious targets by maintaining a healthy, high-velocity pipeline, accurate forecasting, and a consistent focus on results.
  • Be a trusted advisor to prospects and clients — collaborating closely with internal teams to share feedback, influence product development, and fuel continued growth across key investment verticals.
