Optimiza is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this entry-level position, you will assist in creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation that conveys complex information clearly and effectively. Your role will be integral in supporting our teams and enhancing our software solutions through well-structured documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior technical writers and subject matter experts to gather and organize information for documentation.
  • Assist in writing user manuals, guides, and online help documentation for software applications.
  • Perform document reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation templates, style guides, and standards.
  • Utilize diagrams, screenshots, and visuals to aid user understanding and engagement in documentation.
  • Stay informed about product updates and changes in technology to keep documentation current.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving documentation processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field, with internship experience being highly regarded.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an attention to detail and clarity.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Markdown, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and technical terminology.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment.
