Job Summary:
As a Associate Linux Administrator at Medline, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Linux Systems that support our IT infrastructure. Your main duties will include ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our Linux servers. You will work closely with IT teams and other departments to implement and manage Linux-based solutions that align with our company's technological and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
1) Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
2) Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency.
3) Implement security measures and updates to protect against vulnerabilities.
4) Manage system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
5) Collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployment and integration processes.
6) Automate tasks using scripts and configuration management tools.
7) Maintain and update system documentation, including procedures and configurations.
8) Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments.
9) Basic SUSE Cluster knowledge.
10) Knowledge on VMware and Azure Cloud.
11) Server Provision and Decommissioning Process.
Requirements:
1) Total 1-2 Years Experience & Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2) Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or in a similar role.
3) Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems, particularly Red Hat, SUSE.
4) Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
5) Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
6) Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7) Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with IT teams and other stakeholders.
8) Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols.
9) SUSE Clustering Knowledge
10) Knowledge on VMware and Cloud technologies ( Azure )

Skills Required
