We’re seeking someone to join our team as a hands-on Business Analyst to join our Capital Planning Transformation team.
This role partners closely with Capital Planning subject matter experts, Finance and Risk stakeholders, and Technology to deliver measurable process and tooling improvements across internal and regulatory initiatives (including CCAR).The role supports the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting efficiency across Finance platforms.

What you'll do in the role:
Support identification of manual, repetitive Finance processes suitable for automation.
Assist in designing automated workflows using tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, or Python.
Build, test, and maintain automation scripts and process flows under guidance.
Document automated processes, logic, and exception handling.
Prepare, cleanse, and transform Finance data used in automated processes.
Support automated data refreshes for reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI, TM1).
Validate outputs of automated solutions to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Assist with basic SQL queries and data extracts.
Capture and document clearly defined business requirements for automation use cases.
Translate requirements into functional process steps for automation developers.
Support user testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
Maintain solution documentation and change logs.
Assist in mapping current-state (as-is) and automated (to-be) Finance processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and digitize workflows.
Collaborate with Finance users, senior analysts, and automation teams.
What you'll bring to the role:
Beginner to intermediate experience with automation tools (VBA, Alteryx, Power
Automate, Python).
Strong Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or BI tools preferred.
Basic understanding of Finance processes and data structures.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data, IT, or related field.
Early-career experience or internships in Finance, analytics, or automation.
Demonstrated interest in digital finance and process automation.
