The Role

Our Internal Strategic Analytics and Reporting team is looking for a dynamic Associate Bio-Statistical Research Analyst.

In this role, you'll be joining a highly productive, fast-paced analytical team. You'll interact with several different business units and support multiple stakeholders, collecting and analyzing data to help them make informed decisions. 

Our ideal candidate will use technical aptitude (ex: proficiency in Python, SQL) to organize and/or visualize data to tell a story.  Experience with cloud based tools is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
  • Supporting Consultants on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools.
  • Identifying appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Under supervision, providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2 years working experience is required, OR Master's Degree or Ph.D. with no experience is acceptable.

Skills\Certifications

  • Competent to convert research protocol to programming specification logically and meaningfully
  • Attention to detail, exceptional documentation abilities, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to participate in project design and interpretation with Research Staff
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers

Grade: BBEX 10

Incentive Plan AEP

The following qualifications are also desirable, but not required:

  • Education and/or work experience in statistical analysis with health care data highly desirable
  • Training/experience in geographic information systems
  • Clinical education/experience in physical and/or behavioral health
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or other government healthcare benefit programs
  • Familiarity with authorization processes, case management, or other aspects of managed care
  • Familiarity with cloud-based and visualization tools
