$68,000.00 - $93,500.00/Annual Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.Overview
Administers, directs and coordinates the operations of assisted living. Responsible for achieving objectives in the provision of resident care, developing and maintaining programs for the enrichment of the lives of those entrusted to the assisted living, as well as participation in the strategic planning process. Accountable for the state survey process and results. Works closely with the Administrator to coordinate budgetary and operation decisions for the assisted giving that aligns with the mission and vision of Riverside Health System.
What you will do
- Directly oversees clinical team and operations of the assisted living facility
- Ensures the facility/department is in compliance with applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards.
- Maintains accounts receivable at 45 days.
- Facilitates department meetings to ensure employees are informed on facility, Senior Living, and RHS current events.
- Facilitates at least 2 marketing events within the community every year.
- Continuously improve the delivery and outcomes of comprehensive, quality, personalized patient/customer care economically and in accordance with patient safety standards, standards of excellence and the Riverside Code of Conduct.
- Coordinates the activities of Assisted Living with other departments in the development of resident care programs, policies, and procedures to assess, evaluate, and meet the needs of residents receiving care.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree, (Preferred)
Experience
- 1 year Administrator or supervisory experience (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors degree or 5 years of commensurate experience Upon Hire (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) or
- Assisted Living Facility Administrator - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) and
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of commensurate experience

- Licensed Practical Nurse license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- One year of administrator or supervisory experience
