We have a one year fixed- term contract Assistant Accountant opportunity based in our Business Service Operations centre in Prague. Core Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records and analysis for assigned accounting tasks, all in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with group accounting policies and accounting rules.

• Review the accuracy and legitimacy of recorded financial transactions and related reports.

• Ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards including general ledger, cash payments and collections as well as tax transactions.

• Control and reconciliation of accounts and records including balance sheet and P&L.

• Accounting reports and schedules for internal audiences which will include management and compliance reporting and the consolidation of financial statements.

• Cost accounting including budgeting and the allocation of direct and indirect costs, variance analysis, budget preparation.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections.

The team is part of the Procure 2 Pay process for the LEGO group and therefore holds a key role within the Business Service Operations covering EMEA. You will build your

capabilities in a global organisation getting first hand experience with global tasks, day-to-day challenges and collaboration with the broader organisation. The LEGO ways of working reflect dynamic collaboration, flexible mind-set, coherence and an activity based working approach. The Assistant role is a one year fixed- term contract.
