Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and monitor trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely resolution of trade breaks and exceptions, working closely with front-office, risk, and technology teams.
- Maintain high standards of operational control and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing automation or workflow enhancements.
- Apply GenAI tools to:
- Automate routine documentation and reporting tasks.
- Enhance data analysis and exception handling.
- Generate insights from unstructured data (e.g., emails, trade notes).
- Improve operational knowledge sharing and training materials.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and implementation of new products or regulatory changes.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and collaborate with global teams to align best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in banking operations, preferably within Global Markets or Derivatives.
- Strong understanding of derivatives products and post-trade processes.
- Experience with operational platforms such as Murex, or MarkitWire is preferred.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) and their practical applications in financial operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions and geographies.
