What you'll do:

As Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager - Lender Finance you'll be responsible for analyzing, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of large corporate loans & structured products ($25mm+). The Portfolio Manager will work with Directors and MD’s to ensure credit risks are monitored and identified. Join a growing team of 20 with $10B of AUM.

Gather and analyze necessary information to present along with Originators, to Senior Management or Loan Committee for approval.

·       Analyze portfolio investment performance for buy/hold/sell recommendations

·       Prepare portfolio scorecards and recommend marks on collateral

·       Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; assist in solving problems in your portfolio.

·       Handle various other underwriting, portfolio management and upkeep tasks and responsibilities related to new loan requests and/or portfolio.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Fixed Income investing.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring. Credit analyst training completed.

  • Advanced speaking, excel and writing communication skills.

  • Progress toward or completion of CFA

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $115,435.00 - $142,595.00 for New York, NY. Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 - $132,661.00 for San Diego, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 - $132,661.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
