Role Purpose

The Role is Responsible for leading a team of FTEs and NFTEs managing the KYC Fulfilment process to achieve the key penetration targets across allocated portfolios /regulations related to KYC renewals. The role is also responsible for system development/ process enhancement initiatives to enhance process accuracy, resource productivity and customer experience, as well as ensuring adherence to all process SOPs and regulatory compliance requirements.

 Role Accountability

  1. KYC Fulfillment
    • Manage the entire Fulfilment process on KYC (Internal processes, outsourced Tele calling + Field) and decisioning of KYC documents 
    • Develop action plans to drive achievement of key penetration targets across allocated portfolios of Renewals /Address Change /Add-on / PAN updation
    • Prepare budgets for the vertical and ensure adherence 
    • Manage Agency handling including visits to the agency, monitoring performance metrics, SLAs  and enhancing output vis-à-vis fulfillment nos. , improvise parameters where essential and report improvement areas
    • Strict Adherence to Self-Validated Checklists (SVCL) across agencies 
    • Manage the Internal deduplication / Data management to increase throughput by identifying documents through existing base
    • Manage the key business deliverable of PAN /Aadhaar seeding validations across portfolio of SBIC and ensure maximum penetration /compliance through customer communication and IT related developments for end-to-end system automation
    • Spearhead the change management process for all key regulatory changes applicable to KYC renewals (system and policy)
  2. Communication planning
    • Strategize & define a robust & customized communication plan for various customer segments, ensuring adherence to the communication calendar and dashboard publication timelines
  3. System Developments / Process enhancement Initiatives
    • Ensure preparation of BRD's, close looping the discussions with development teams, execution of testing and production validations on essential developments with regard to KYC on card one and website
  4. Budgeting / Vendor Management
    • Drive vendor productivity on various sub-process, including enrolment, renewal, overall billing / budgeting and ensure performance levels are within agreed thresholds
    • Ensure monthly PR, PO process are in line with business across all expense lines for KYC team
    • Ensure timely closure of aged POs on system to release unutilized budget in respective CDRs
    • Ensure closure on GSTR within TAT as per input received from Tax team
    • Ensure process documentation and compliance adherence

Measures of Success

  1. Achievement of operational metrics as per SLA - Process accuracy, resource productivity and TAT adherence
  2. Compliance adherence to KYC renewals for primary and add on cards for overall penetration targets
  3. No adverse observations in internal / external audits
  4. Timely & accurate MIS publication
  5. No. of initiatives suggested for automation/system developments
  6. Process adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Experience in operations management, vendor management, MIS & Reporting
  2. Understanding of core systems like V+/CardOne
  3. High on Excel and PowerPoint
  4. Understanding of Statutory compliances on KYC
