Lead FP&A analysis for business segments: monitor P&L, track revenue drivers, perform variance analysis vs budgets and plans, prepare CFO/board presentation decks, liaise between Business Finance and Group Finance, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

- Monitor and analyse P&L performance by business segment
- Prepare and analyse peers performance against the Bank/Group
- Track revenue drivers (NII, NOII, fees, trading income)
- Perform variance analysis vs Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and Strategic Plan
- Acting as liaison between Business Finance and Group Finance
- Manage CFO presentation decks for Board of Directors and Management Committee
- Support in identifying performance gaps and recommend corrective actions with business heads.
- Support in delivering clear, forward-looking performance insights for GEXCO, Board, and management committees.
Required qualifications, competencies and skills:
- BSc. Or MSc. Accounting/Finance/Economics or Statistics (preferred major)
- Over 5+ years of business finance analytics and relevant industry experience
- Chartered Financial Analyst/Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)/Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) or any other equivalent qualification (Optional)
- Proficiency (advanced knowledge) in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook with familiarity in data query/data management tools (e.g., Access, SQL, Business Objects). Proficiency in Copilot optional.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Strong presentation and slide preparation skills
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication (including written and oral communication skills) and problem-solving skills, comfortable working independently in ambiguous situations
- Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
- Strong ethics and governance
Skills Required
