Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Lead the oversight team with accountability for NAV oversight and fund financial reporting oversight.
Maintain close collaboration and integration with offshore partners, including India based colleagues.
Deliver BAU oversight across complex technical areas within financial reporting, fund accounting and NAV oversight.
Act as SME for fund accounting oversight, including Financial Reporting and Costs & Charges.
Oversee error and risk validation, analyse control failures, direct remediation activity and support Risk and Compliance investigations.
Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls and oversight.
Manage internal and external stakeholder queries.
Build and maintain relationships with TPAs, auditors and key internal partners.
Shape and maintain the control governance framework.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Skills:
Strong technical expertise in fund accounting, NAV components, pricing, and financial reporting, with knowledge of accounting standards and regulations across key jurisdictions (UK, Ireland, Luxembourg).
Deep understanding of fund structures and private market asset classes (e.g., LP/GP, ICAV, RAIF; private debt, real estate, alternative credit) including complex valuation methodologies.
Strong risk, controls, and governance mindset, with the ability to challenge constructively, assess complex issues, and make clear, well-informed decisions.
Proven experience operating within an outsourced/TPA model, with effective oversight, review, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate issues, cut through complexity, and drive timely resolution.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence TPAs, auditors, and internal teams across technical and non-technical contexts.
Ability to work with autonomy, accountability, and sound judgement, contributing to team delivery and broader business outcomes.
Experience:
10-15 years of experience in financial services. Min 10 years of experience in Fund accounting oversight or fund financial reporting oversight with at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA Finance) are a plus.
Relevant IOC or Investment Management qualification / Certification would be desirable.
