We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 12-15 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms, data architectures, and data management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, big data ecosystems, cloud data platforms, and modern data architecture frameworks.
The Data Architect will be responsible for defining the organization's data strategy, designing scalable and secure data solutions, establishing best practices, and providing architectural leadership to data engineering, analytics, and business teams.
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and operational workloads.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications.
- Architect enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and modern data platforms.
- Establish data governance, metadata management, data quality, and master data management frameworks.
- Lead the design of data integration and ETL/ELT architectures across multiple systems.
- Define standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for data management.
- Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, and technology teams to drive data transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering and analytics teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, data strategy, data integration architecture, information architecture, reference architectures, and data modernization
- Extensive experience with conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional, Data Vault 2.0, star schema, and snowflake schema data modeling
- Experience with data modeling tools including Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or Visio
- Strong experience designing enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, operational data stores, and data marts
- Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of Hadoop, Spark or PySpark, Hive, Kafka, Delta Lake, and large-scale batch and real-time data processing
- Experience with database design, query optimization, data partitioning, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, data quality, master data management, privacy, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with role-based access control, data security policies, enterprise integration patterns, API-based integration, event-driven architecture, microservices, data mesh, and data fabric concepts
- Ability to lead architecture reviews, governance forums, executive stakeholder discussions, and technical teams
- Experience mentoring Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Technical Leads
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Talend, Collibra, or Alation
- Exposure to AI/ML data platforms, generative AI data architecture, and data observability platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Terraform infrastructure as code
- TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Data Engineer Professional, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Professional Data Engineer, or Snowflake SnowPro certification
