Overall objective


The Assistant Transition manager/ Lead supports the Transition team and business Unit to drive smooth transition of operations from onsite to offshore by customizing program management, developing migration plans, mitigating risks, ensuring documentation quality and tracking progress.



Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing transition plans by tailoring the overall transition management framework for select functions and creating detailed plans, including toll gates, owners, KPIs, risk mitigation strategies, and resource requirements.
  • Support the timely and stable transition of operations for selected functions, tracking and delivering on transition KPIs, and assisting business owners in planning for business impact.
  • Participate in migration tollgate meetings, ensuring completion of all transition documentation to a high standard.

Experience

  • 4+ years of global work experience within Tech, Media, Telecom sector, involved in driving transitions across tech and ops teams in a distributed offshore-onshore setup.
  • Experience managing transition/migration programs in ops, analytics, and tech.
  • Deep understanding of shared services operations, with experience leading transitions and process migrations.
  • Experience in tracking KPIs, managing budgets, and financial reporting for transitions and process migrations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting change management for migrations with culturally diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Exposure to consumer data measurement, research, analytics, and content management within the media industry (TV, OTT) preferred.
  • Strong command over program management skills including project planning, resource allocation, risk/time/scope management, stakeholder engagement, and ability to deploy agile and waterfall methodologies requirement.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate through ambiguity while maintaining focus on key objectives.
  • Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working collaboratively across departments and geographies to achieve common goals.

Educational Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree (MBA or M.Tech) preferred.
