The Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) – HSMT Training Focused supports the Regional Manager in areas experiencing PD staffing challenges, high turnover, or elevated onboarding and training demands. This role focuses on HSMT communication, training, onboarding, staffing support, and reporting, while handling day-to-day HSMT escalations in partnership with the Regional Manager.
The ARM plays a critical role in improving training quality, employee engagement, and retention, while ensuring new hires are prepared for successful and compliant on-site performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Training & Onboarding
Provide site coverage approximately 75% of the time
Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires, including:
New hire outreach via email and phone
IRAMP and OSHA 30 onboarding support
New hire check-in calls
Scheduling and coordinating on-site training
Managing and maintaining the New Hire Checklist
Assist with New Hire Orientations as needed
Audit New Hire Orientation quarterly
Conduct and document initial and final training reviews
Perform logbook audits to ensure training comprehension and compliance for new hires
Work directly with new hires to ensure readiness prior to independent site placement
Assist, Identify and conduct further trainings as needed for Inventory, case management and ensure documentation is completed
HSMT Support & Retention
Conduct bi-monthly check-in calls with all per diem HSMTs to support engagement, morale, and retention
Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HSMT issues, including:
Clock-in/clock-out questions
Computer or system access issues
General procedural questions
Support retention efforts by identifying concerns early and escalating trends to the Regional Manager
Operational & RM Support
Assist the Regional Manager with scheduling as requested, ensuring alignment with regional priorities
Support case management hurdles as needed
Handle smaller day-to-day escalations for HSMTs, escalating higher-risk issues to the Regional Manager
Travel to cover a 6-hour radius.
Conduct site audits to ensure training standards and operational compliance
Cross-Business & Travel Support
Support other Business Units as needed, which may require travel outside the assigned six-hour radius
Provide on-site assistance to stabilize staffing or training in high-need areas
