Role description:

Arcadis Macau is looking for Quantity Surveying Professionals to join our team. We provide APC Training, medical, dental & life insurance.

Role accountabilities:

  • Manage the delivery of cost management services for small to medium commercial, retail and residential developments, or lead significant components of larger cost management assignments, to achieve positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
  • Deliver assigned scope of work in line with required governance, controls and quality standards, applying strong technical knowledge and practical experience in cost/commercial management, including:
    • Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow
    • Preparation of tender documentation
    • Tendering process and tender evaluation
    • Post-contract administration and management: contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control report
    • Finalization of project final accounts
  • Lead and/or support the coaching and development of team members to share knowledge, strengthen capability and continuously improve service delivery standards.
  • Provide specialist technical advice to senior management on issues relating to cost/commercial management, providing solutions and actively sharing knowledge in order to support successful delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Engineering related disciplines.
  • 5-8+ years relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, with proven exposure to E&M / MEP cost management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with corporate clients in a consultancy environment, with a strong track record of delivering quality outcomes.
  • Proven experience supporting and/or managing major projects, with strong commercial awareness and delivery focus.
  • Strong technical knowledge in E&M / MEP Quantity Surveying, with the ability to interface effectively with design teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Good command of English and Cantonese, Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering-related discipline
  • 5-8+ years relevant Quantity Surveying experience with E&M/MEP cost management exposure
  • Experience working with corporate clients in a consultancy environment delivering quality outcomes
  • Proven experience supporting or managing major projects with strong commercial awareness
