Opportunity Overview:

As a Renovations Assistant Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on interior value-add projects across our portfolio—ensuring renovations are completed on time, on budget, and up to our high standards. You’ll own the day-to-day details, keep communication flowing, and drive projects that elevate our communities and boost long-term value.


Your Day-to-Day:

· Lead the charge on apartment renovation projects—planning, managing, and driving each one to successful completion

· Create and refine project scopes, then coordinate with both trusted contractors and in-house maintenance teams to keep everything on time and on budget

· Manage the full bid process, from preparing documents to reviewing proposals and selecting the best partners for the job

· Collaborate with design and project teams to choose finishes, appliances, flooring, and other upgrade features that elevate our communities

· Work closely with Community Managers, Regional Project Managers, and senior leadership to align on project timelines and strategies

· Ensure every project follows company policies and complies with all safety, legal, and regulatory standards

· Champion a culture of integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions—with residents, vendors, teammates, and partners

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

· 1–3 years of experience managing multi-family renovations, construction, or maintenance projects

· Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously

· Strong budgeting, financial, and analytical skills

· Experience building and managing vendor and contractor relationships

· Solid leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile tools

· Some college coursework or trade school education preferred

· Willingness to travel locally and overnight up to 25%
