Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
* Track project progress, performance, and resource allocation.
* Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and daily reports.
* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Participate in project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
* Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or issues, proposing solutions.
* Assist in cost control activities, including tracking expenses and reviewing invoices.
* Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Coordinate with field personnel to ensure proper resource deployment and task execution.
* Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site concerns.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role, preferably within heavy civil, pipeline, or utility infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project lifecycle.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
