  • Develop baseline, detailed execution, procurement, design and commissioning schedules.
  • Integrate design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Review contractor baseline schedules for logic, sequencing, durations, resources and achievability.
  • Ensure alignment of contractor schedules with overall project milestones.
  • Develop detailed L2/L3/L4 schedules as required by the project.
  • Prepare and maintain 2-week, 4-week and monthly look-ahead schedules.

  • Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule.
  • Collect and validate progress information from site teams and contractors.
  • Carry out weekly and monthly schedule updates.
  • Analyse planned vs. actual progress and identify slippages.
  • Track critical and near-critical activities.
  • Monitor key project milestones and sectional completion dates.
  • Identify potential delays at an early stage and escalate them to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure that reported progress is supported by actual site achievement.
  • Prepare and monitor manpower histograms and resource loading.
  • Review contractor manpower and equipment deployment against planned requirements.

  • Carry out schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Support cost and commercial teams by providing schedule information for forecasting and change management.
  • Analyse the schedule impact of variations and change orders.
  • Support project forecasting and expected completion-date assessments.
  • Ensure schedule changes are properly documented and traceable.

About You:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Construction Management / Project Management will be an advantage.
  • Primavera P6 certification will be preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction planning/project controls.

  • Experience with a PMC/Client/Consultant organisation will be preferred.
  • Experience in reviewing contractor programmes and delay claims will be an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on construction planning professional, not merely a Primavera operator. He/she should be capable of independently analysing a project programme, identifying why the project is slipping, determining the impact on the critical path, developing recovery options and presenting clear recommendations to the Project Manager/Client.
