We are looking for an energetic and innovative engineering professional to join the Energy Consulting Section. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for effective project management of site activities including carrying out energy audit, Retro-commissioning (RCx) projects, carbon management projects, feasibility studies and preparing project programme and budget, conducting engineering design and supervising site construction
- Co-ordinate with clients to plan, schedule and set up proper procedures to meet the technical requirements and deliver the works on schedule
- Prepare budget & forecast and control costs & schedule to achieve the targeted profit
- Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) system to ensure that the required standards are achieved
- Work closely with management and branch head to develop strategies for people development across the business
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A recognized University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, Sustainability, Physics and Green Energy, Energy & Green Management, Green Energy, Energy and Environmental Sustainability or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Solid experience in building energy audit is preferable
- Experience in Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance, RCx, building energy simulation or green building certification is a plus
- Familiar with engineering standards, codes of practice, AUTOCAD would be an added advantage
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated, a good team player, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Possession of Construction Industry Safety Card
- Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferred
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
