Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Project Manager- PMCM to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators to senior management
  • Conduct site visits to assess project status and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project challenges and mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Support the Project Manager in client communications and stakeholder management
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and closeout documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or construction management
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
