We are looking for an energetic and innovative engineering professional to join our Contracting Business Department. Reporting to the Project Manager of Infrastructure Branch, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist Project manager to supervise a multi-discipline team and be responsible for design, interfacing with relevant parties, testing and commissioning, coordinating with other E&M contractors as well as clients’ representatives
- Prepare design submissions, method statements, tender proposals, safety & health plan and correspondence
- Lead the team to implement the ELV, PA, AV, CCTV & Communications Systems for Government and railway projects
- Liaise with suppliers / subcontractors on tendering, contracts administration, variations vetting and payments
- Manage software subcontractor to develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
- Supervise and monitor the performance of suppliers and subcontractors
- Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Systems to meet project and statutory requirements
- Provide training and development for subordinates
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A recognized University degree in relevant engineering disciplines, major in computer, electronics, electrical or mechanical systems
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in ELV systems or TCSS particularly in transmission, telephone, CCTV, PA and data network systems is required
- Sound knowledge of contractor management, interfacing with contractors and managing site activities in multi-discipline infrastructure projects
- Experience in software development and network engineering will be added advantage
- Strong business acumen, customer-oriented and performance driven
- Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Possession of Construction Industry Safety Card and
- Possession of a valid driving license is preferred
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
