About The Opportunity

At Wonder, you won't just help build traditional restaurants—you’ll be supporting the builds of high-tech, rapid-turnaround commercial construction featuring specialized designs and advanced kitchen equipment, all while meeting aggressive site-opening timelines.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Process Documentation & Architect Plan Reviews: Optimize workflow documentation and support architectural plan reviews for rapid-turnaround sites.

  • Project Schedule Reporting & Auditing: Track project timelines, audit progress, and report key schedule metrics to keep builds on track.

  • Meeting Engagement: Actively participate in site construction meetings and cross-functional Project Manager syncs.

  • Project & Vendor Support: Facilitate smooth coordination and operational support between internal teams and external vendors.

Initial Focus and Key Deliverables (Post-Joining) 

  • Process Refinement & SOPs: Assist in refining and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to scale construction operations.

  • Reporting Management: Structure and maintain progress reports to provide clear visibility across active projects.

  • Project Management Support: Provide direct operational support to keep construction deliverables moving forward.

  • General Contractor and Vendor Manuals: Help draft and update operational manuals for General Contractors and vendor partners.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Task Tracking & Reporting: Monitor daily project management tasks, track milestones, and deliver clear progress updates.

  • Process Documentation Support: Assist in drafting, organizing, and maintaining critical construction documentation.

  • Vendor Coordination & Support: Serve as a reliable point of contact to coordinate with vendors and resolve operational bottlenecks.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Construction Management (or a related specialized program).

  • Relevant internship or construction industry exposure preferred.

  • Qualification / Required skills ie: Google Platforms proficient (Google Sheets, Gemini App Scripts etc.), Construction Schedule Management Platforms, Monday.com

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.

New Jersey: 36.00 per hour.

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
