Job Purpose
The Assistant Projects Engineering Manager has the overall responsibility for delivering Projects identified by the Cost Deployment Pillar, Innovation, capacity and Masterplan. This role will focus on the delivery of the projects based on agreed timeline while maintaining safety and quality compliance. The delivery of the project needs to follow Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) methods, especially EEM steps to make sure smooth transition to production and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance to Safety and Occupational Health procedures
Ensure compliance to environmental policy
Ensures compliance to GMP and HACCP
Coordinate to all stakeholders for project update and delivery
Prepare Project Network
Prepare User Requirement Specification (URS) to be used for Bidding
Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP), Technical Recommendation Letter (TRL for all Projects procurement transaction.
Monitor and ensure on time delivery of PO. Coordinate closely with vendor and related team.
Secure FAT/SAT Checklist
Coordinate to inter-department (Electrical, Mechanical & Utilities) from conceptualization to turnover of the projects.
Lead the Projects installation and commissioning
Ensure all Project compliance to Machinery Safety standards and Hygienic Plant Standard
Prepare and maintain MP Information database.
Conduct and lead the training for New Equipment Operation and Maintenance.
Creates Management of Change (MOC) and secure approval to all stakeholders.
Prepare the Project to Asset capitalization
Update P&ID & Factory Layout affected by the Projects
Work with other Pillars on improvement related projects
Lead of Early Equipment Management Pillar
Requirements
BS degree in Engineering
Project Management Skills
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking.
Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Able to train, coach and develop team members.
Excellent command of English language (oral and written).
Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications.
Previous experience in FMCG operations is a plus.
Previous experience in engineering maintenance is a plus
