Job Description:
As an Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing, you will educate and mentor future nurses, foster student success, contribute to curriculum development, and help advance the mission and growth of Roseman's College of Nursing in a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Essential FunctionsDeliver engaging classroom, lab, clinical, and seminar instruction aligned with course outcomes.
Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum, course materials, and student assessments.
Advise and mentor students to support their academic, professional, and personal development.
Plan, supervise, and evaluate student clinical learning experiences.
Collaborate with faculty, preceptors, and clinical partners to enhance student learning.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student success and professional growth.
Participate in university, college, and nursing program committees, activities, and service initiatives.
Maintain expertise in nursing practice, teaching methodologies, and accreditation and program quality standards.
Master's degree in nursing from an NLN-CNEA, ACEN or CCNE-accredited institution.
Demonstrated current clinical experience in area of specialty.
Teaching experience in nursing at the postsecondary level preferred. If none, attend seminar for nurse educators.
Holds current, active RN license in Nevada or Utah based on location of primary appointment.
