Role Purpose
Procurement Tech is driving Unilever’s ambition to become a truly Data‑Intelligent enterprise. As an Assistant Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in powering Procurement with high‑quality data, automated insights, and digital products that enable smarter, faster, value-driven decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Procurement data, DataOps, digital products, analytics, and solving business problems through technology—with the ability to independently drive analysis and deliver meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data Operations & Analysis
Own end‑to‑end data Product delivery: extract, transform, model, and validate Procurement data from enterprise datalakes.
Build, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, data models, semantic layers, and Python scripts.
Conduct detailed data analysis and generate insights that influence Procurement’s strategic and operational decisions.
Data Quality & Governance
Execute the Data Quality roadmap, including rules, validations, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Identify data gaps, perform RCA, and collaborate with stakeholders on fixes and enhancements.
Dashboarding & Insights Delivery
Knowledge of designing and deploying Power BI dashboards and insights tailored to end‑user personas.
Translate business questions into analytical outputs with strong storytelling and visualisation.
Product & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with business product owners, build team, and business SMEs to capture requirements and convert them into data solutions.
Support multi-market rollouts, user training, adoption, and communications.
Contribute to Procurement Tech’s digital product development lifecycle.
Essential Experience
Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Python.
Experience in developing BRDs, information gathering, product development planning, sprint planning, UAT , business query resolution, signoff and on time product delivery
Hands-on exposure to data modelling, performance optimisation, AI projects, and data analytics delivery.
Experience with data lakes, cloud data platforms, or enterprise data environments.
Ability to work across global teams, manage stakeholders, and operate in a complex matrix organisation.
Experience with solution design, testing, and landing dashboards.
Understanding of product development and multi-country deployments.
Desirable Experience
5+ years of experience as BA or sourcing/procurement or procurement data SME or product management
Strong knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, or systems like SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer.
Background as Business Analyst, QA, or Data Analyst in digital product teams.
Exposure to project budgets (€200k+) and global rollouts.
Knowledge of metadata management, data catalogues, or API-based data integration.
