1. Lead integrated VE & sustainability projects across China, ensuring on-time delivery, tracking results, and reporting to senior management.
2. Develop standardized design criteria for ingredients and packaging that balance cost efficiency with carbon reduction requirements.
3. Conduct cost-carbon analysis to identify opportunities delivering both savings and environmental benefits.
4. Initiate and prioritize projects based on ROI and carbon impact; lead risk assessment with cross-functional teams.
5. Drive supplier collaboration on cost reduction and carbon initiatives; serve as SME in strategic supplier negotiations.
6. Manage China VE and carbon data; build tools to track progress and hold suppliers accountable for dual targets.
7. Develop business cases demonstrating combined value of cost savings and carbon reduction to secure investment.
