Job Description
As an Assistant Operations Manager please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Minor Hotels team members always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team members. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- As an assistant operations manager you will be responsible for managing the operation of Anantara Veli Resort with support of Resort Manager.
- Support the F&B operation of Anantara Veli Resort, Maldives, by working closely with the F&B service and kitchen leadership.
- In the absence of the Naladhu Private Island & Anantara Dhigu resort manager, the assistant operations manager will cover the islands during the absence.
- To implement the hotel strategy across all operational departments.
- To provide a single point of leadership for all operational activities in the hotel, and to effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the hotel.
- To support and implement all corporate programmes and guidelines.
- To ensure that the operational and service skills of the hotel's team members are constantly improved.
- To ensure the hotel's service performance (NPS and GRI) is maintained within/ and above the given targets.
Qualifications
- Recognized Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Must have 2-3 years experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations management role, preferably with Luxury Brand experience
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
- Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
