KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ensure consistency in quality of blends and packaging at Co-packer’s unit & Conduct Blend Quality Audits.
• Ensure right quality selection of various spirits & flavors from various sources & Implement specification norms for the same
• Monitor reference samples, on line Quality and quality of Finished goods.
• Ensure Measurement accuracy of blend inputs so as to minimize measurement errors and batch to batch variation of blends.
• Sustain ISO 9001 and 22000 system at the unit.
• Ensure Sensory evaluation of raw materials, finished blends, flavors’, stored ingredients & facilitate CAPA to minimize product complaints
• Evaluation of products & processes
• Ensure QSE standards at the copack site and monthly reporting of QSE targets.
• Assessment of vendor performance in terms of quality trends [Includes raw materials, Chemicals & Ingredients, packaging components, process contact materials, processing aids & means of transportation]
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Background with a command on excel and number crunching.
- Preferred 7+ years relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in FMCG manufacture.
- Knowledge of Quality systems - ISO22000, ISO 9001
- Computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Office
Functional & Leadership Competencies
- Competence in Sensory evaluation – Spirits, Demineralized Water
- Competence in Blending & Tank room operations
- Competence in Bottling and hands-on experience of shop-floor working and unit management
- Technical knowhow of physical and chemical tests to be performed on alcoholic beverage blends and water – Laboratory Management
- Proactive nature with good Inter-personal skills
