Salary: USD $2,22,000 – $2,29,000 / yr
Bonus: Annual bonus + annual raise
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced **OR Registered Nurse Leader** to oversee daily Main OR operations, support safe and quality patient care, manage resources, and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily **Main OR** operations and nursing staff.
  • Support staffing, resource allocation, patient placement, and utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with **Joint Commission, Nursing Practice Act**, and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead survey readiness, mock rounds, and corrective actions.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and staff training.
  • Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, and risk management.
  • Support budget, productivity, and utilization goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of OR RN experience** with **Main OR/IntraOp** experience.
  • At least **1 year of leadership experience** (Charge, Lead, Preceptor, Supervisor, etc.).
  • California RN License** and BLS.
  • Experience with **Joint Commission compliance, survey readiness, and mock rounds**.
  • Experience with emergency preparedness and multi-unit hospital operations.
  • Strong background in nursing resource allocation, clinical quality/risk management, labor relations, and budget/utilization management.
  • BSN and/or CNOR strongly preferred.**
  • Large hospital/union acute-care OR experience preferred.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of operating room registered nurse experience, including Main OR/IntraOp experience
  • At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, such as Charge Nurse, Lead, Preceptor, or Supervisor
  • California RN license
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Experience with Joint Commission compliance, survey readiness, and mock rounds
  • Experience with emergency preparedness and multi-unit hospital operations

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room certification
