Founded in Hong Kong in 2016, OnTheList is Asia’s first members-only flash sales concept. OnTheList works directly with retail brands and official distributors, turning past season inventory into opportunity by providing a sustainable way for brands to sell past-season items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while providing the best deals and steep discounts to our OnTheList members. Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016, OnTheList has hosted over 5,200 flash sales and has built a community of over 1.3 million members across all regions. We’ve since expanded to Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, Shanghai, Beijing, Thailand, and Dubai.

Assistant Marketing Manager
As our Assistant Marketing Manager, you'll be at the heart of bringing our flash sales to life through creative, strategic, and results-driven work. Expect a mix of big-picture thinking and hands-on execution in a collaborative environment.
WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH
Creative Content Development
- Lead the creation of engaging, high-impact content and campaigns across our core social platforms — serving as our in-house expert on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, where you'll craft posts, stories, reels, carousels, and threads that spark excitement and drive engagement. Experience with Xiaohongshu (Red Note) and Line is a plus!
- Collaborate closely with different teams to develop creative briefs, copy strategies, concepts, and storytelling that perfectly align with our brand voice.
- Stay on top of digital and emerging media trends (graphics, video production, multi-format content) to keep our output innovative and effective.
- Manage and direct Tier 3 and Tier 4 creative agencies, freelancers, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to our quality standards — providing clear direction, feedback, and approvals throughout the process.
Public Relations
- Strong relationships with media, influencers, and partners.
- Develop smart PR strategies and create compelling materials (press releases, pitches, articles) to amplify our flash sales and brand stories.
- Leverage your network and communication skills to secure coverage and keep our community buzzing about the latest drops.
Advertising Strategies
- Plan and execute performance-driven campaigns — mastering Meta Ads and other digital channels, with an eye on programmatic, SEO, dynamic ads and beyond.
- Track, analyze, and optimize ad performance across platforms and brands, turning data into actionable insights for better results.
- Bring experience with OOH and DOOH to help us explore creative offline/online integrations that make our sales impossible to miss.
WHAT IT TAKES
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in marketing communications, performance/digital marketing, or advertising agencies — ideally with exposure to retail / beauty / fashion.
- Proven video filming and editing skills (we love content creators who can shoot and edit polished pieces!).
- Strong expertise in content creation and digital advertising operations, including Meta Ads and similar platforms.
- Excellent creative, strategic, and organizational abilities — you're detail-oriented, self-motivated, and take high ownership of your work.
- Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese — essential for our regional work.
